Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the software products and services (each, a "Product," collectively, "Products") operated by Stan Santini ("we," "us," or "our"), including but not limited to Check with Stan, Plan with Stan, and any additional software Products we release. By creating an account, purchasing, or using any Product, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

We build and sell digital software tools ("Products") aimed at helping individuals and small businesses make faster, better-informed decisions. All Products are delivered entirely digitally. We do not sell or ship any physical goods.

2. Accounts and Access

Some Products require you to create an account and/or activate a license key issued at the time of purchase. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and license key confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Purchases and Billing

Products are offered under one of two purchase models, as specified on the relevant Product's page at the time of purchase:

• Subscription Products are billed on a recurring monthly (or otherwise stated) basis. Your subscription automatically renews each billing period until you cancel.
• One-Time Purchase Products are billed once, at the time of purchase, and grant you access as described on the Product's page.

Some Products may offer a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged according to the plan you selected.

Merchant of Record. Purchases of our Products are processed by Lemon Squeezy, Inc., who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. This means Lemon Squeezy is the authorized reseller of our Products, and your purchase is made through and billed by Lemon Squeezy, not directly by us. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, applicable sales tax/VAT collection and remittance, and initial billing support. We do not store your full payment card details. Lemon Squeezy's own terms of service and privacy policy also apply to the payment transaction itself.

4. Cancellations

You may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period already paid. See our Refund Policy for full details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use any Product for any unlawful purpose;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, sublicense, or redistribute any Product without our written permission;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any Product, account, or system;
• Use any Product to harass, defraud, or harm any other person or business.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any Product for violation of these Terms.

6. AI-Generated Content and No Guarantee of Outcome

Some Products (including Check with Stan) use artificial intelligence to generate scores, analysis, recommendations, or written content (including negotiation scripts). This AI-generated output is provided for general informational and decision-support purposes only.

This output is NOT, and should not be relied upon as:

• Real estate appraisal, valuation, or brokerage advice. Our home/property scoring does not replace a licensed appraisal, a real estate agent's market analysis, or a home inspection.
• Legal advice or a substitute for reviewing a contract with an attorney.
• Financial, lending, insurance, or tax advice.
• A substitute for a licensed contractor, mechanic, or other professional's own inspection and quote.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or any particular outcome from any AI-generated output (including, without limitation, negotiation results, purchase decisions, savings achieved, or the accuracy of any score or red-flag detection). AI systems can make mistakes. You are solely responsible for independently verifying any information before making a purchase, hiring, or financial decision, and for any decisions you make based on output from any Product.

7. Intellectual Property

All Products, including their software, design, content, and underlying technology, are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Purchasing or subscribing to a Product grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Product as intended — it does not transfer ownership of any underlying software or content to you.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that any Product will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of, or inability to use, any Product. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or any Product is limited to the amount you paid us for that Product in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of any Product will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of any Product after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
